5 Laps with JED
Interview by FCF iNFERNO

1. How long have you been gaming and racing?

I have been gaming for about 10 years now on/off...

2. How many hours do you play Forza 2 each day?

It varies from day to day. I will say I am playing FM2 about 15-20/week, give or take.

3. What is your favorite thing about the game?

My favorite part about the game is the competition. I thrive on competition.

4. Some think you have a secret identity, that you are someone else that previously held top times under a different GT. There was even a joke thread titled "I know who JED is". Any truth to the rumor that you are actually the STIG or anyone else?

I was actually quite flattered that this particular thread started about me. I was an unknown coming to the forums and became a well-known test driver for most of the tuners. I was therefore nicknamed "STIG" by someone whom I tested for and the name has stuck ever since. I wish I could say that I am the original "STIG", but I have to say that I am not him.

5. Jed, a big deal has been made about your ability to make a variety of cars go fast with little seat time. What kind of advice do you have for the aspiring driver trying to get faster at FM2?

I will say that I am not the best driver out there. I will say though that I have lots of room for improvement and I am striving to be the best. It takes alot of practice. I have been playing racing games ever since I can remember. That is all I was ever good at. Its takes time and dedication. If you have that, anyone can be great.

Well, thanks a lot, JED. You've really helped me get this article ready for the initial showing of the site! We'll definitely be looking forward to your input and testing various cars when you're available.

Yea, whatever you need man. Just let me know what kinds of things you are looking for.
