Tuning AG Lexus Pack
JED's A850 Lexus Pack
Outstanding test driver JED haunted my racing nightmares since my first-ever race series in Forza. Invariably he managed to run 2 seconds a lap faster than my fastest lap for the entire series. While I wasn't surprised there were people better than me in Forza, I was very surprised at JED's attitude in the game.
From the very beginning, JED has always been willing to help people out.
Amidst cries that JED's tunes were better than everyone else's, he gladly shared them with anyone who asked. He helped with setups, gave tuning tips, as well as track pointers to total strangers, and never asked for anything in return. Nearly every tuner on the forums has raced with JED, and not one that I am aware of has anything but the highest respect for his attitude, nevermind his racing talent.
Speaking of talent, anyone who has been helped by JED has certainly gotten faster, be it through setup help or tuning tips...
But not as fast as JED. I've driven a multitude of JED's tunes in the past several months, and I've noticed they fall into one of two categories.
1) Easy to drive, capable of knocking anywhere from a few tenths to several seconds off your lap times, and
2) pffft! You aren't JED, boy, and this car is too fast for you to drive properly. Go run your own car, slowpoke!
When I heard of JED's A850 Lexus Pack, I wondered which category the two cars would fall into...

JED's Tuning AG SC430, Paint by junismo.
Upon taking to the track, I noticed the high levels of grip this car was built for. It held the curves easily, but more importantly, out accelerated my S204!
It went around the track easily, clipping apexes and driving hard out of the corners, holding Road Atlanta Short's long right hander, provided I set up correctly for it.
Anytime you get a car with this much grip in a RWD chassis, you know it's going to be great in multiplayer. I took it into battle and promptly won the first race, and podiumed the next one, due to an unexpected off. Some things never change...
To make matters even better, Junismo's paint has been applied to this vehicle. Special care has been taken to keep this car subtle, with the AG logo highlighted in the metallic finish. The two tone base paint looks like something from a custom hot rod shop, and fits the car beautifully.
Overall, I'd give this car an "A" for usability. I guess that means the other car is the expert's machine, but it is a pack, and I have no choice but to test it...

"You aren't JED, boy..." Echoed in the back of my head when I saw this IS. The SC was so easy to drive, I didn't think there was any way this one would be as forgiving.
I was wrong. If I gave the SC430 an "A" for usability, this car gets an "A+++" for steering and handling!
This is one of those cars in which you find yourself running off of the inside of the curves. Settle down, now, no need to be nervous in this machine!
On the first lap, my personal best ghost was 20mph faster down the straights at Sebring Short. A bad sign, to be sure, but this car is so fun to drive I had to keep lapping.
I began to notice that this car just destroyed in the turns, with quick steering and outstanding turn in. Wow. This car is FAST. Despite having less top speed than my PB car, I set a new personal best with this one, a 1:13.308 on the 3rd lap! Just outside of the Top 1000, the important thing to remember is that this wasn't even the Sebring setup!
JED told me after the fact that he had some minor tweaks for Sebring, but the car was still great there. Yeah, I figured that out when I set a new personal best. Thanks, JED. heh.
The fantasy/race hybrid paint on this car is menacing, and definitely a head-turner. DepthC0RE told me his goal is to be the best painter on the Tuning Marketplace, and I'd have to admit he's well on his way.
So, the first car has great grip, the second has incredible steering. They won't make you as fast as JED, but I'd say both cars are a MUST buy for the Lexus fans out there.
Both of these cars are highly capable in A-Class. Check the for sale thread for details.
