My question to you is, given the scenario that the world is under the influence of a constant EMP, as in it cannot generate any electricity because it is constantly being sucked away. There is very little fossil fuel left in this world as well. Ethanol is made in basements and solar power is a luxury. Cars aren’t worth much within crowded areas, but outside of that, fuel is worth the price of gold.

Now say that a lot of time and energy is going into stopping an “unstoppable force” and creating a space ship that can power a large group of people to alpha centauri. In other words, ideas are still valuable, fuel is extremely valuable, and whatever they’re using to power this mothership and stop this object are valuable.

So what specific substances would be worth value?
