Where can i find a 72 millimeter tap?

i have a Diamondback D10 Dual Sport and i took my bottom bracket out because it was ceased, the threads are now dead and there is a massive hole through my frame. What else can i do?

You could check the internet for the tap you need Maybe even try E bay as well. You could also try your auto parts stores or tool shops. If they don’t have it ask them if they can special order for you. Otherwise you could get a heli coil to replace the damaged threads. Also you could just bolt the bottom bracket to the frame with bolts and nuts and washers. If you just bolt it together you don’t need any threads cause you will be using the nut to tighten it all up. You could also consider welding it if you have the access to one or know sombody who does welding. A welder with the least amount of heat would be the best so your frame isn’t warped or ruined in any way shape or form. Hope this helps you out some.
