directv recovery kit upon cancellation?

i cancel my agreement and met the 2 yr contract. Directv is sending me a recovery kit, but what do i do about the satellite. will they have a professional uninstall it or what happens to the satellite.

The dish will stay where it is unless you remove it. DirecTv doesn’t remove dishes. Their thinking is that when you move out, the next person that lives there will be inclined to have DirecTv put in because there is already a dish installed.
